IN THE VICINITY OF THE SUN
In the Vicinity of the Sun features a joyous celebratory group dance and seven solos by exceptional Ireland-based dancers of vastly diverse dance backgrounds - from Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ireland and Zimbabwe - in urban locations, linked by water, railways, bridges, pathways – like stars in a solar system moving relative tothe Sun.

The festival 'Iv Dia de Los Reyes' includes on-site and online performances and offers us the possibility to enjoy music, dance, short films, workshops and more from performers and artists from different parts of the world.
Our dance film 'In the Vicinity of the Sun', commissioned by Five Lamps Arts Festival 2021 and produced by Irish Modern Dance Theatre, is being screened at this festival.
